As we posted 2 days ago that Apple will release the iPhone 5 on October 5th, Today we have a confirmed information that Apple will hold the event of the iPhone 5 on October 4th .
Tim Cook, the new Apple CEO, should be playing a prominent role in this event to asset himself as the new leader of Apple, although the event is mainly consisted of team presentations with other execs such has Phil Schiller, Scott Forstall, and Eddy Cue. However there have been concerns around the probability that Steve Jobs will not be able to attend due to his health.
MacRumors yesterday notes that Apple will be also introducing a minor update of its iPod line, and has noted the first week of October to be the time for the introduction. Apple usually sends invitations to its media events about a week before the event, so we are expecting the official notice of the event to appear early next week.
