As we posted a few weeks back, Apple had promised to launch the iPhone 4S in 22 new countries by the end of October. These countries are: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. Apple stores in all those countries have now started to take pre-orders for this new phone.
Although the iPhone 4S has been added to the pre-ordering system of the 22 countries, it still seems that Apple has not yet met up with the demand as the waiting time to get the iPhone 4S is quoted to be from 1 to 2 weeks. You can see this in the above screenshot that was taken from one of the iPhone 4S suppliers in one of the above stated countries.
Sprint and KDDS have been added to Apple’s carrier lineup during the September quarter. The iPhone now is present in 105 countries across 130 carriers. The iPhone 4S is said to have had a ground breaking record in the success of its launch as the company have sold 4 million units just in the weekend of its launch. Not forgetting that U.S. carriers (AT&T and Sprint) have reported this to be their best ever product launch.
All you iPhone 4S fans that are situated in the countries above get ready to start ordering your iPhone 4S straight away. I’m sure 1-2 weeks is a long enough wait you would not want to delay it any longer. Let us know what you think when you finally get your hands on an iPhone 4S.
