The iOS hacker @pod2g has warned us on his twitter account from updating to iOS 5.0.1 as the code signing bug Charlie Miller found in iOS 5 will make creating a jailbreak much easier.

Note about 5.0.1 : don’t update if you plan on jbking : the bug Charlie MILLER found can simplify exploits dramatically and will be closed.
Also @pod2g replied about the iOS 5.0.1 jailbreak possibility, he said :
I didn’t tell 5.0.1 would never be jbken but it will certainly take more time.
As most of you know that @pod2g had discovered a new exploit on iOS 5 that can make the iOS 5 untethered jailbreak is available on iPhone 4 , iPhone 3GS, iPod touch 3G, 4G, and iPad.
So we recommend to be patient and don’t update to iOS 5.0.1 .
