We have been waiting for the Official Steve Jobs Biography to be out for sometime, and not the day has come. It is finally here. We have been hearing reviews about for the past few days from reviewers who got their hands on an early release copy. We even saw copies of the book being sold in an airport in London, where everyone around the world was still waiting for the book to be release. However, now we can finally get our hands on the real thing.
Kindle customers were able to get their hands on the book a little earlier than the rest of us as some people have reported that their pre=-ordered biographies reached their Kindles a little earlier than midnight.
As for the rest of the U.S. they have been waiting anxiously for midnight to view the release of the book. The book is now available in the U.S. on Apple’s iBooks and also is being released in all regions. You can also get it on Amazon.
The biography was written by Walter Isaacson and has got good reviews and we have seen many facts from the book have been leaked in the past few days. We know that Steve Jobs wanted Isaacson in particular to write is biography, and Isaacson has asked Jobs why he agreed to this he replied saying:
In order to mask my emotion, I asked the one question that was still puzzling me: Why had he been so eager, during close to 50 interviews and conversations over the course of two years, to open up so much for a book when he was usually so private? “I wanted my kids to know me,” he said. “I wasn’t always there for them, and I wanted them to know why and to understand what I did.”
Jobs passed away on October 5th from pancreatic cancer. He will indeed by greatly missed.
