Twitter recently rolled out an update for its Twitter for the iOS app, offering a new feature that provides user access to global trending topics.
Also updated with relevant bug fixes and system enhancements, the new Twitter for the iOS comes with improved playback functionality for videos featured in the app/online entity’s short vid clip creation feature, Vine.
Working on enhanced location-aware technologies, the new Twitter app’s integrated access to trending topics can be availed via the suite’s “Discover” tab. The feature essentially curates local hashtags which are popular, offering relevant content to Twitter users.
Also, an in-app invite sending feature is also showcased in updated Twitter for the iOS application, allowing its users to easily send out invites within their Twitter network.
The update also features enhanced Tweet management controls, including better retweet reply management concerns.
Downloadable via App Store (rated at 21.8 MB in size), the updated Twitter for the iOS is designed for iDevices running on iOS 5 and above, offering timely updates which really matter to active Twitter users.
