As Apple’s newest iOS version had been released last month, its Maps app/service feature has been at the top of most critiques, with many Apple customers not all that satisfied with Maps performance as an informed mapping software solution.
However, Maps isn’t the only issue which iPhone owners are blaring about, with a number of reports noting that iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S users aren’t all that happy with the new mobile operating system, even with its new features.
With reports telling of quicker battery drains being experienced by iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S users, the system upgrade is pegged to be the “cause” of the situation, with testimonies of iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S users noting that their mobiles’ respective batteries didn’t go flat as quick before the upgrade.
With some users reportedly blaming this battery drain issue on Maps, a number of non-Maps users contest that it isn’t necessarily the case, given the fact that their mobiles’ batteries still drain more quickly than before the upgrade.
An Apple Discussion board is even revealed to contain more than 200 entries in one thread, with discussions talking about the quicker battery drain issue being experienced by iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S users running on iOS 6, with some offering tips and tricks on how to better manage their mobile’s battery life.
With the iPhone battery’s general reputation for quickly draining out, the situation is one which doesn’t bode as good news for Apple, given the expectations of gadget performance quality pegged to it by most electronic consumers.
