iPhone 4S Users Complaining of Audio Issues, With No Explanations from Apple Support Staff

At the beginning of this week, BGR posted  that there as been a growing number of complaints seen on the Apple support forum and all regarding a problem that is occurring with echoes on the iPhone 4S when the users are using their headsets. One of the threads on the issue has reached now 15 pages of complaints, with all the users having the same issue. These users are using  a variety of different phone models and carriers.

They are saying:

When using the Apple hands free headset with the phone during a call, I get an echo problem. It does not occur immediately. It can very from 30 seconds into a call and as far up to 9 mins in before it begins the annoying echo. If I unplug the headset it goes away but will return when I plug the headset back in. I have tried 3 brand new iphone 4s headsets with the same problems. So far I have tried rebooting, and also restored phone back to factory original settings as a new phone and still no resolution. I have been told by the other person on the line a screech sound is made then the echo begins.

To solve this matter some users have said that this issue goes away when they trying to turn their speakerphone mode on and off when the echo occurs.

Another problem that has occurred is  static on iPhone 4S calls, this problem has opened its own discussion in a quite long thread of comments. Users are saying that this problem is affecting their incoming and outgoing calls and that this problem as occurred on a number of different handsets.

There is also a third issue that has been heavily talked about on the Apple support forum and that is that users have been experiencing no audio when trying to make outgoing calls. They have said:

Picked up a Verizon iPhone 4S – 32GB and on about 1 in 10 calls I get no outbound audio when dialing. Call shows the timer counting as if the call is progressing but absolutely no ring back and cannot hear the party on the other end when they answer.

However, some users have replied to that saying that when switching the speakerphone option on and off this may fix the problem as with the first problem we discussed. But other reports have stated that this does not always work. To the disappointment of many Apple support staff have been unable to fix these issues that users have been facing.
