iPhone 5 Event to Be Held On Apple Campus

Few days ago we reported about the event of the iPhone 5 that supposed to cover the introduction of the iPhone 5 , iPhone 4S and may be the white iPod touch 5G .Today AllthingsD reported that Apple will held the iPhone 5 event on Apple Campus in Cupertino, rather than the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts .

Perhaps, the company felt a more intimate venue was best for newly installed CEO Tim Cook’s first media event. Perhaps YBCA was simply already booked. Whatever the reason, the world will get it’s first look at the next iPhone at Apple’s Town Hall Auditorium in early October.

Tim Cook, the new Apple CEO, should be playing a prominent role in this event to asset himself as the new leader of Apple, although the event is mainly consisted of team presentations with other execs such has Phil Schiller, Scott Forstall, and Eddy Cue. However there have been concerns around the probability that Steve Jobs will not be able to attend due to his health.

Rumors surrounding Apple’s iPhone 5 have claimed the company has been working on either a completely redesigned device, or a minor update unofficially dubbed “iPhone 4S”. Many sources previously reported the iPhone 5 would ship in mid-October on AT&T, Verizon and Sprint in the United States; it is widely believed the new device will come with Apple’s upcoming iOS update, iOS 5, pre-installed and ready to be configured with iCloud. AllThingsD also reports Apple’s new CEO, Tim Cook, will preside over the event.
